Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. In 2000, he began his acting career by playing in TV series such as Opposite Sexual. His fame was boosted by his role as the Human Torch, the Marvel Comics character in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007. Evans appeared in several films that were adapted from graphic novels and comics, like TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) and Snowpiercer (2013). He gained wider recognition for his performance as Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War and the group films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He became one of the top-paid actors in the world because of his work for the Marvel franchise.
